Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced and proactive Senior Utilities Engineer to oversee our facility's utility systems. This role encompasses the management of boilers, gas, sewer, electric, and water systems. This permanent position offers a chance to significantly impact our operations while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all utility systems, including gas, sewer, electric, and water.
  • Serve as the Chief Boiler Engineer, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all boiler systems.
  • Develop and oversee the Preventative Maintenance System/Risk Management Program (PMS/RMP) to ensure regular inspections and maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed regulatory records related to utility maintenance, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Monitor utility usage by documenting and reading meters, identifying potential issues or inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with engineering team members, providing necessary guidance and support.
  • Continuously seek improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of utility systems.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted safely, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Chief B Boiler Engineer License is required.
  • Proven expertise in boiler operation and maintenance.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance System/Risk Management Program (PMS/RMP).
  • Ability to document and read meters for gas, sewer, electric, and water systems.
  • Familiarity with maintaining regulatory records regarding utility maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
  • Commitment to safety with a history of responsible work practices.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
