Position Summary:
We are in search of a dedicated Project Engineer with a strong background in site-civil construction. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the site superintendent and project manager to ensure efficient operations across all site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Coordination:
  • Oversee jobsite activities and ensure effective coordination.
  • Monitor production levels and report progress.
  • Assist in scheduling equipment relocations in collaboration with the superintendent.
  • Manage onsite vendors, subcontractors, and materials, coordinating deliveries and schedules.
  • Participate in weekly jobsite meetings, documenting minutes and updates.
  • Gather necessary forms from site personnel.
  • Compile the two-week look-ahead schedule from foremen.

Management Duties:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Prepare and oversee project budgets.
  • Track project timelines, documenting any changes or delays.
  • Create and manage subcontractor estimates for change requests.
  • Draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Review and approve invoices from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain a daily log of project progress, including material usage and workforce.
  • Facilitate communication with contractors and attend necessary meetings.
  • Assist in preparing estimates and analyzing subcontractor and vendor quotes.

Document Management:
  • Update and distribute project plans as necessary.

Additional benefits include paid time off and a referral bonus program. This position typically requires an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with some travel obligations.
