Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a skilled Project Engineer with a background in site-civil construction. The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with the site superintendent and project manager to ensure the seamless execution of all sitework operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Coordination:
  • Oversee jobsite activities and coordination.
  • Monitor production and track progress.
  • Assist in scheduling equipment transfers between sites in collaboration with the superintendent.
  • Manage onsite vendors, subcontractors, and materials, ensuring timely deliveries and effective scheduling.
  • Participate in weekly jobsite meetings, documenting minutes and updates in the designated system.
  • Gather necessary forms from site personnel.
  • Compile the two-week look-ahead plan from the foreman.

Management Duties:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Prepare and oversee project budgets.
  • Track project timelines, documenting any changes or delays due to various factors.
  • Create and manage Subcontractor Estimate for Change Requests (SC-1's).
  • Draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Review and approve invoices from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain a daily log of project progress, including materials used and workforce details.
  • Ensure effective communication with contractors and attend necessary meetings.
  • Assist in estimating and take-offs, as well as evaluating quotes from subcontractors and vendors.

Document Management:
  • Update and distribute project plans as needed.

Additional benefits include paid time off and a referral bonus program. The position requires an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with some travel obligations.
