Job Title: Physician Assistant - Occupational Medicine

Medicine for Business and Industry (MBI) is a leading provider of occupational medicine services, operating outpatient clinics specializing in acute injury care. We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Physician Assistant in our Occupational Medicine department, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals injured at work. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and review of medical history
  • Diagnosing and treating common occupational musculoskeletal injuries, such as neck, back, and upper and lower extremities
  • Managing work-related injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, and extremities
  • Providing treatment for non-displaced uncomplicated fractures and ordering radiographs as necessary
  • Referring patients for specialized testing, such as MRI and EMG, as needed
  • Collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree and valid, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • FMCSA certification for DOT exams, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Current CPR certification
  • NRCME certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear and effective verbal and written communication
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation
