Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and specialized exams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient care.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Process and label images, compare requisitions to physician orders, and enter patient information into the radiology information system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other staff members to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
  • Advanced knowledge of radiology positioning and techniques, aseptic techniques, and C-arm procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
