Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and helping them develop essential skills for future success.

Job Summary:

The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing educational activities for pre-school aged children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement daily lesson plans that meet the needs of pre-school aged children, aligning with federal performance standards.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience teaching pre-school aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
