Position Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while overseeing all unit functions. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC evaluates and monitors nursing care in alignment with established protocols. The CNC acts as a resource for staff and fosters an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with patient admission and discharge processes.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service quality.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN required.
- Current Texas RN license or RN compact license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Specialty certification required within one year.
- Completion of charge nurse course required within one year.
- Additional leadership training and involvement in professional organizations is highly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty and leadership/management experience is preferred.
This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE - 80 hours per pay period).
