Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients, developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Provide medical consultation, including therapeutic procedures delegated by supervising physicians
  • Manage patients in various settings, including offices, hospitals, emergency departments, and perioperative environments
  • Follow standardized procedures, protocols, and policies regulated by the State of California Physician Assistant Practice Act
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • PA-Physician Assistant licensure
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • Other certifications based on department requirements
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Working knowledge of electronic health records, such as EPIC
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to complete age-appropriate assessments
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
