Job Overview

This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the facility. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mentors and guides janitorial personnel in accordance with company standards.
  2. Utilizes various cleaning agents safely and effectively.
  3. Ensures thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms.
  4. Performs floor maintenance including mopping, washing, buffing, and vacuuming.
  5. Disposes of waste and replaces liners as necessary.
  6. Maintains outdoor areas by sweeping and washing pathways and patios as needed.
  7. Polishes and cleans furniture and fixtures.
  8. Manages recycling processes.
  9. Washes windows to maintain visibility and cleanliness.
  10. Dusts and vacuums all furniture.
  11. Displays flags as requested.
  12. Arranges tables and chairs as needed.
  13. Restocks supplies in designated areas as required.
  14. Monitors and requests cleaning supplies.
  15. Washes and dries cleaning cloths and mop heads.
  16. Operates golf carts and other vehicles as necessary.

Leadership Role

This position serves as a Lead within the team.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office setting. The employee may frequently encounter fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions is expected.

Physical Requirements

The role requires regular communication and listening. It is physically demanding, involving standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling throughout the day. The employee must be able to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds frequently.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time role with varying days and hours based on location needs. Evening and weekend shifts are part of the requirements.

Travel Requirements

Local travel to different sites is necessary.

Education and Experience
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Minimum of one year of experience with janitorial equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. One year of experience in a leadership role.
Licenses and Certifications
  1. Successful completion of a drug screening.
  2. Background check clearance.
  3. Valid Driver's License with proof of insurability.
