Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care functions, including assessing and monitoring patient conditions, and notifying physicians or healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by physician orders, following established protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and identify and arrange for equipment needing repair.
  • Apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control as directed by the Infection Control Manual.
  • Monitor patient flow and assign/direct other ancillary personnel as needed.
  • Provide medical information and education to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document pertinent patient information, assessment, and nursing procedures, following established protocols.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current LVN experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited LVN program.
  • Active unencumbered LVN California state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
