Role Overview

As a key member of our high-performing Contact Center, you will deliver exceptional service across various communication channels, including phone, email, web chat, and digital platforms. This role may also include temporary Customer Care positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries via telephone, chat, and email, ensuring professionalism and a pleasant demeanor in all interactions. Provide accurate information regarding all retail and business offerings while demonstrating enthusiasm and empathy, especially in challenging situations.
  • Deliver quality service as a competitive advantage, retaining existing customers and attracting new ones. Utilize sound judgment in line with current policies to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Assist in mentoring and training new Customer Care representatives, ensuring they meet quality and productivity standards for customer satisfaction.
  • Adapt quickly to changing situations and manage multiple demands effectively. Stay informed on frequent updates regarding policies, products, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce Associated Bank's products and services to current and prospective customers, actively seeking cross-selling opportunities.
  • Process maintenance and monetary transactions, exercising fiscal responsibility and adhering to prescribed guidelines.
  • Safeguard the bank and customers from potential losses by following confidentiality protocols and maintaining awareness of risks related to customer information.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, banking, retail, food service, insurance, or telemarketing/sales preferred.
