Position Overview:
Aspirus Plover Clinic is currently seeking a Radiology Support Specialist to enhance our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of diagnostic imaging services to patients across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
The Radiology Support Specialist will:
1. Collaborate closely with the radiology team to maintain a clean and secure environment.
2. Serve as a transporter and positioning aide, assisting in the movement of patients and supplies.
3. Conduct room cleaning and setup tasks, ensuring the department remains organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
4. Assist in the preparation of patients and sterile supplies as required.
This position is integral to the patient care team, providing support under the guidance of radiologists, registered nurses, and registered technologists.
Work Schedule:
01 FTE/Occasional hours only
Qualifications:
Knowledge of patient care standards typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma. Currently pursuing a degree in Radiology Technology is preferred.
