Job Summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting and processing medical specimens in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and store medical specimens according to established procedures.
  • Properly label and centrifuge specimens as required by test order.
  • Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature.
  • Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
  • Attend annual department trainings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries regarding laboratory results.
Requirements
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
