Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at UniFirst. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading the production team and driving top-level performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support production process flow to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Support the training of plant personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support overall morale and safety at the location by promoting a positive and safe work environment.
  • Report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems as they arise and work with management to resolve them.
  • Support production data entry and report review to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support management of inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Work with Production Management to address team partner concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required.
  • Two-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
