About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer Team Lead to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of applications engineers in the development and implementation of HVAC solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate equipment selection, pricing, and submittal processes for projects
  • Develop and lead applications engineers to achieve specific budget objectives
  • Optimize equipment selection and configuration to ensure cost savings and efficiency
  • Support sales teams and develop preliminary and final submittals as required
  • Maintain competitive advantage by staying abreast of industry trends and negotiating prices with vendors
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology
  • 2-3 years of experience in the HVAC industry performing project management or estimating roles
  • Windows/Microsoft Office product knowledge
  • Familiarity with HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours as required
