Job Title: Process Engineering Intern

Tremco Construction Products Group is a leading manufacturer of polyurethane sealants and coatings. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Intern to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Process Engineering Intern will work closely with our process and quality engineering group to support safety, quality, maintenance, and production processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in process tools such as Process Safety Management, Behavioral Risk Improvement, and Lean Six-Sigma tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the process and quality engineering group in the development and implementation of process improvements
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process waste reduction
  • Assist in the creation and editing of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Work alongside process engineers on capital expense projects
  • Communicate information and collaborate on projects through regular meetings
  • Assist in the Quality Lab Safety program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing
  • No prior experience or training required, but experience with manufacturing is encouraged
