Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Ascension Providence. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
