GPI is seeking a dedicated Junior Systems Administrator with over 2 years of relevant IT experience to enhance our operational capabilities across multiple locations.
This role involves regular visits to our various offices in New England, ensuring that both technical and non-technical staff receive the necessary support. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Collaboration:
You will work closely with the local Systems Administrator and the Regional IT Manager, following established protocols to fulfill your responsibilities effectively.

About GPI:
With over 57 years of experience, GPI is a renowned multi-disciplinary firm offering a range of professional services including construction, inspection, planning, survey, geomatics, design, landscape architecture, and engineering to various government and industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide help desk support for both field and office personnel.
- Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot computer systems and peripherals.
- Manage user account information, including permissions and security settings.
- Assist in documenting IT systems and processes.
- Support regional and company-wide projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant IT experience.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ certifications or equivalent experience.
- MSCE / MCITP certifications are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both in-person and remotely.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Microsoft Server 2016 to 2019 is advantageous.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report is required.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
