About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Managed Care Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our outreach team, you will play a critical role in engaging potential customers in managed-care and similar programs, such as CCBHC. You will work closely with our program administrators and clinical staff to ensure seamless coordination of services and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support functions and tasks to ensure programs meet customer, referral, payor, and staff support needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of internal processes to ensure accountability for fiscal and administrative operations.
  • Review and manage TEL lists, assign staff to clients, and deactivate excluded referrals.
  • Communicate with clinical staff and billing teams regarding Medi-Cal status and other program-related matters.
  • Serve as a liaison for shared services, coordinating with other departments to meet reporting and compliance needs.
  • Manage authorizations with payors, implement processes to prevent lapse of authorizations, and consult with finance and program managers on claims and billing issues.
  • Assist with program audits, customer contact, and quality assurance activities to support clinical programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least six months of experience in an administrative position or mental health field.
  • One year of experience in an administrative position or mental health field preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with rapid changes.
  • Data management and visualization experience preferred.
