We are seeking a talented and driven Behavioral Health Outreach Coordinator to join our Business Development Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in healthcare business development or marketing, with a proven track record of measurable business development results. A Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health, marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred. A valid driver's license is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all admissions to the hospital, reviewing referral source information, and contacting patients to obtain names of external professionals or agencies involved in their care. They will also act as a liaison between the facility and referral sources, implementing service-oriented action plans responsive to referral source needs. The Behavioral Health Outreach Coordinator will build and maintain positive relationships with existing referral sources, identify new referral sources, and participate in social media content planning. They will also adhere to and contribute towards strategic planning initiatives and goals. In addition, the successful candidate will take appropriate actions concerning 'contact-us' website inquiries, assist in maintaining marketing material descriptions, confirm referral source information, and report any corrections to the Director, Manager, or Designee of Assessment and Referral. The Behavioral Health Outreach Coordinator will conduct periodic follow-up to ensure communication has occurred, attend daily census meetings, establish relationships with external professionals, and determine their objectives and knowledge of hospital programs. They will also enter all referral contacts in the MS4 system and maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement. The successful candidate will participate in regularly scheduled Business Development team meetings to reduce duplication of efforts and coordinate response to referral sources. They will also promote a facility teamwork environment and Service Excellence culture, participate in the continuous analysis of the changing healthcare environment and healthcare market, and adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel, and standard policies and procedures.
