  • Facilitating patient transfers and admissions as necessary.
  • Collaborating with scheduling teams to maintain adequate staffing levels.

Utilizing extensive experience and sound judgment, this position is vital in achieving departmental goals. The coordinator may also lead and guide the work of other staff members, showcasing a high degree of creativity and independence. Typically reports to the head of nursing administration.


Qualifications:
  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Required: Proficiency in typing and computer data entry.
  • Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Required: Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Required: Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
  • Required: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
