Pediatric Nursing Assistant Specialist

Aveanna Healthcare is expanding and is currently in search of dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with shifts available during the day, evening, and overnight, including some longer shifts of 10 to 12 hours.
CNA Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional patient care.
- Responding to patient inquiries and providing appropriate assistance.
- Assisting patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Repositioning patients who are bedridden.
- Ensuring that patients receive the correct diet by considering their dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Gathering information from healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Monitoring and documenting food and liquid intake as well as urinary and fecal output, reporting any changes to medical staff.
- Taking and recording vital signs as requested.
- Observing patients for any medical issues that may require attention.
- Reminding patients to take their medications and nutritional supplements.
- Noting any changes in patient behavior or physical symptoms to nursing staff.
- Staying updated on CNA training and facility policies.
CNA Requirements:
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
