Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Beverage Service Representative to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our menu and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service: Create a positive and energetic atmosphere while serving guests in a courteous, attentive, and efficient manner.
  • Suggestive selling techniques: Educate guests on menu items to create interest and enthusiasm.
  • Food and beverage preparation: Prepare food and beverage offerings to order and collect payment.
  • Restaurant operations: Assist in supporting restaurant operations by demonstrating true hospitality through exceptional people skills, food and beverage knowledge, and service techniques.

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience: Catering customer service experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry or equivalent experience.
  • Product knowledge: Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products and services.

Preferred Experience:

  • Server or bartender experience: Experience as a server/cocktail server in a high-standard, fresh concept restaurant/hotel management.
  • Food service experience: Experience as a bartender or server in a fast-casual restaurant.
