Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Hardesty & Hanover. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for performing structural design and analysis tasks for various projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems for bridges and other infrastructure projects
- Prepare contract documents, including design calculations, plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design and analysis
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software
- Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements and other relevant design standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
