Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical engineering support and execute tasks as per work authorization documents.
  • Handle tasks related to laptops, printers, audio-visual equipment, and various electrical or mechanical components.
  • Fabricate cables and electronic components adhering to recognized industry standards.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment with stringent deadlines.
  • Prepare cables with non-flammable materials for flight processing.
  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the lab environment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
  • Fundamental knowledge of mathematics and computer science.
  • Familiarity with the engineering drawing process and tool calibration.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in cable and electronic component fabrication following recognized workmanship standards.
  • Proficiency in PWB population using various soldering techniques.
  • Skills in electronics troubleshooting and fiber optics.
  • Understanding of inventory management systems.

Compensation:
The pay for this position is expected to be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position is governed by the Service Contract Act.
