Executive Director, F. David Fowler Career Center

The George Washington University's School of Business is seeking a visionary Executive Director for the F. David Fowler Career Center. As a key member of the School's leadership team, this individual will drive the development and delivery of comprehensive career services for undergraduate and graduate students and alumni.
The successful candidate will provide strategic vision and leadership for the Career Center, overseeing a team of professionals who deliver career assessment, consulting, and coaching services, as well as industry-related experiential learning programs and employment activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative programs and services that align with the School's mission and the changing needs of students and employers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, alumni, and other stakeholders to expand internship and employment opportunities.
- Lead a team of coaches and employer relations professionals to deliver high-quality services and support.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to manage the Career Center's budget and resources.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 10 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 8 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred qualifications include an MBA or relevant Master's degree, eight years of leadership experience in business school career services or related corporate environments, and knowledge of the latest related technology and employment practices.
Work EnvironmentThe Executive Director will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, reporting to the Dean of the George Washington School of Business and representing the School on the university-wide Career Services Council.
The position requires a strong understanding of the business school environment, career services, and the needs of students and employers.
What We OfferThe George Washington University offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $209,025.43, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
