Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our accreditation and regulatory readiness team, you will be responsible for ensuring our hospital's compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards and CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs), as well as other state and federal regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Accreditation & Certification: Organize, manage, and facilitate programmatic initiatives related to maintaining Joint Commission (TJC) Hospital Accreditation & CMS Hospital Certification.
- Promotes Regulatory Readiness: Foster a culture of continuous regulatory and survey readiness through ongoing regulatory readiness activities.
- Compliance Monitoring: Serve as the subject matter expert for regulatory and/or accreditation standards, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Data & Document Management: Maintain databases, documents, and sources of information for quality initiatives, accreditation efforts, and regulatory mandates.
- Regulatory Improvement: Actively participate in the overall improvement and organizational performance, identifying, planning for, communicating, monitoring, and evaluating actions to comply with existing and new regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline.
- Bachelor's degree required; Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or related healthcare field.
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Proficient in managing a database, creating data reports, and interpreting statistical reports.
