We are currently seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in AWS, GitLab, and DevOps methodologies to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee our cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS services such as API Gateway, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, and VPC, along with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate reliable deployment processes, employing tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
  • Ensure system reliability and performance through consistent monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning using platforms like NewRelic and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Deploy and maintain scalable, high-availability applications within a cloud-native microservices architecture.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address system outages and ensure rapid resolution of production challenges.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create resilient and scalable software solutions.
  • Drive innovation by continuously evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
  • Strong inclination towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g., scripting in Bash, Python, Ruby).
  • Proficient in AWS cloud services (API Gateway, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, EKS).
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Karpenter, and ArgoCD.
  • Solid experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Relevant certifications in Site Reliability Engineering.
