Job Summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paint Filtration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our paint products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the paint filtration process to ensure optimal quality and consistency.
  • Operate and maintain filtration equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Perform quality control checks to verify that paint batches meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Quality Lead and/or Manager to ensure compliance with corporate quality standards.
  • Record and respond to SPC data generated from quality checks.
  • Make adjustments to production batches as needed to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Interface with GUI screens and other controllers to monitor and control the filtration process.
  • Physically capable of opening and closing filter pots to remove and install filters/screens.
  • Move wash totes and pallets of filter bags to and from the manufacturing floor using a forklift.
  • Communicate with other departments during production to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
  • Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Able to lift, carry, and empty 50-pound raw material bags.
  • Operate and maintain a forklift (25-30% of essential job functions).
  • Basic PC skills and ability to learn and use company software and computer systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to be cross-functional.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and mandatory overtime as needed.
