Kitchen Operations Manager

Uncle Julio's Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and support the efficient operation of our kitchens. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality culinary experiences to our guests.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations, with experience in supervising and training kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and adhering to food safety regulations. Additionally, you will assist in implementing menu enhancements, monitoring food costs, and optimizing kitchen workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in implementing menu enhancements and optimizing kitchen workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
- Interface with Executive Kitchen Manager and General Manager to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1-2 years' experience as a kitchen manager, kitchen supervisor, or kitchen lead.
- 2 years of relevant computer experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Formal culinary training preferred.
- Possess required food safety and sanitation certifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and performing tasks that require strength and stamina.
