Key Responsibilities- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Twelve months of experience preferred.
- Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
- AHA BLS certification within two weeks of employment.
- Medication Competence within two weeks of employment.
- Computer Competence within four weeks of employment.
- Medication Examination within twelve weeks of employment.
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification within twelve weeks of employment (if applicable).
- TNCC certification within six months of employment (if hired in MICU or Neuro ICU).
- Critical Care Classes and Examinations within sixteen weeks of employment.
- ACLS certification within sixteen weeks of employment.
- Phlebotomy/Point of Care Competency within four weeks of employment.
