Job DescriptionThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of vehicle wash equipment and accessories at customer locations. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.
- Perform service work on vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
- Replace, repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary.
- Inspect, calibrate, and check all chemicals.
- Run equipment through cycles to ensure proper functioning.
- Advise customers of necessary service work and make recommendations for part replacement.
- Provide information and training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical/trade school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a field technician or related role, preferably in industrial mechanics, pneumatics, PLCs, or electrical work.
- Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations within the past five years.
- No impaired driving convictions within the past five years.
- Ability to travel daily and occasionally overnight, with flexibility to work rotating on-call weekend schedules.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Intermediate computer skills and email communication.
