Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with state testing programs and accountability frameworks
  • Proficient in utilizing student test data systems
  • Ability to conduct statistical analyses
  • Competent in using software for data collection, reporting, and presentation
  • Skilled in developing and delivering training sessions for adult learners
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with platforms such as Skyward, Eduphoria, Cambium-TIDE, TestHound, and College Board

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience, along with two years of experience in test administration

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Management:

1. Establish and implement protocols to safeguard the confidentiality and security of state-mandated testing programs and other assessments. Supervise test implementation and monitor testing activities to ensure compliance with established procedures and timelines.

2. Provide timely assistance to testing administrators.

3. Collaborate with staff to ensure appropriate testing accommodations for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students and those receiving special services.

4. Identify and address any testing irregularities, reporting discrepancies and necessary disciplinary actions.

Data Analysis and Collaboration:

5. Generate and disseminate statistical studies, analyses, and evaluation reports as required.

6. Partner with instructional teams to analyze test data and establish student achievement goals.

7. Work with district personnel to formulate, administer, and interpret assessment guidelines and procedures.

Recordkeeping and Reporting:

8. Maintain the integrity of testing data, ensuring all materials and data are submitted within set deadlines.

9. Complete evaluation and compliance reports as mandated by federal and state programs.

10. Monitor the distribution, return, and storage of test materials.

11. Compile, maintain, and secure all necessary reports, records, and documentation.

Additional Responsibilities:

12. Contribute to the development and delivery of training for district and campus test administrators to ensure consistent test administration practices.

13. Travel occasionally to various campuses as required.

14. Adhere to district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee the work of district and campus test administrators and others involved in test administration.

Mental and Physical Demands:

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computers and peripherals.

Posture: Prolonged periods of sitting; occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.

Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions; regular keyboarding and mouse usage.

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).

Environment: Frequent travel within the district; occasional statewide travel.

Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; ability to work with frequent interruptions.
