We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Flooring Project Coordinator to join our team at Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of commercial flooring construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with Estimators, Superintendents, and Project Managers to ensure project specifications, materials, and descriptions are accurate.
  • Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring materials and installations are scheduled, assigned, and supervised.
  • Communicate with vendors/distributors to determine product availability and pricing.
  • Coordinate, document, and communicate project materials, resources, and information to customers.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Work Orders, verifying accuracy and entering data into Record/Project Management Systems.
  • Responsible for placing material purchase orders and documenting lead times in Record/Project Management Systems.
  • Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules.
  • Perform consistent, timely follow-ups with suppliers and customers.
  • Work independently with a high degree of organization.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a Flooring Project Coordinator role or 3 plus years as a Commercial Construction Project Coordinator.
  • Knowledge of construction-related coordination processes (contracts, materials, vendors, purchase orders, work orders, change orders).
  • Knowledge and experience with all types of commercial flooring and materials preferred.
  • Experience with Record and Project Management software (Field Lens, Procore, Job Runner, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a dependable mode of transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
