Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with expertise and maintain technical skills
  • Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Provide exceptional patient care and interact with patients, medical staff, and physicians with professionalism
  • Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment
  • Perform secondary duties such as clerical tasks, receptionist duties, and scheduling patients
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
