Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, reviewing patient history and physician's orders, and educating patients regarding procedures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviews patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and efficient care.
  • Performs high-quality ultrasound examinations, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
  • Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies, and troubleshoots and resolves equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures, analyzing results and identifying issues with the quality of imaging results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
