About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Checkers & Rally's. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, achieving sales and profit goals, and ensuring excellent Guest and Team service.
  • Team Management: Support the General Manager in managing restaurant operations, including interviewing and hiring the right Team Members, training on operations, Company policies and procedures, and Guest service.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every Guest has a positive experience by providing excellent service, managing Guest complaints, and responding to policy and procedure violations.
  • Training and Development: Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members on their performance, and ensure that all Team Members are well-trained and equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Restaurant Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure that the restaurant is a safe, clean, and fun environment for our employees and Guests.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Preferred
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certified
  • Experience: 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
  • Skills: Basic math skills, Microsoft Office and general systems experience, strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills, ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours
  • Personal Qualities: High energy to keep up with our fast-paced environment, commitment to our core values of integrity, service, excellence, and courage to be bold & grow
