At Gagosian, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Chelsea team as an Assistant to Director. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about modern and contemporary art and has experience in providing administrative and sales support.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the art world and be capable of efficiently managing heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and discretion are essential attributes for this role.

As an Assistant to Director, you will be responsible for communicating with the Director, clients, artists, studio representatives, and curators. You will provide sales support, manage day-to-day client relationships, coordinate client viewings, and assist the Director in coordinating exhibitions.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also maintain order in the Director's office, manage contact lists, and provide administrative, logistical, and calendar management support.

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
