Phlebotomy Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist III Float to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Louisville, KY. This role offers a dynamic and diverse work environment where no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
- Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams
- Enter billing information and collect payment when required
- Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees, and serve as a resource advisor for staff on site
- Travel to additional doctors' offices or Patient Service Center sites as needed
Requirements:
- Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment
- Keyboard/data entry experience
