Job Summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/X-Ray Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical office staff, you will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare providers, ensuring seamless patient care and exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with direct patient care, including vital sign collection, phlebotomy, and radiology procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing electronic medical records, and billing and coding.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Current certification in radiology (LXMO, LXMOT, RAD, or RADT) or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
