We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at PurePoint Energy. Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of our operations team, including project managers and solar technicians
- Conduct regular development meetings with team members to discuss project progress and address any challenges or concerns
- Oversee the management of project pipelines, bandwidth, and resources to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively
- Manage the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of solar systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Motivate and mentor team members to achieve performance excellence and promote a culture of safety and quality
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards
- Prioritize projects and resources to meet company revenue and other goals
- Responsible for revenue and project forecasting to ensure accurate budgeting and planning
- Oversee invoicing and job payments to ensure timely and accurate payment to clients
- Assist with the recruiting and hiring of new team members to ensure that the operations team has the necessary skills and expertise to meet business needs
- Ensure that each team member is in the right role and has the necessary skills and training to perform their job duties effectively
- Lead and facilitate process initiatives to drive efficiency and improve quality
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations to protect the company, its employees, and the environment
- Stay up-to-date on changing regulatory landscapes and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
- 3-5 years of experience in managing commercial solar operations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- 4-year bachelor's degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Gantt charts experience a must
- NABCEP certified preferred
- Experience in Smartsheet a plus
- Experience in planning and executing commercial solar projects from inception to completion, including managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Understanding and experience with solar energy systems, components, and commercial solar project design and installation processes
- Experience implementing safety protocols and quality assurance measures in operational processes
- Must have solid technical knowledge, be able to read one lines, and structural engineering letters, and plans
- Understand codes (fire / set back / NEC) and know how to address code issues and pass inspections
- Experience in managing relationships with commercial clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Travel necessary - must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle report
- $95,000-$120,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
