SUMMARY

The Night Cleaner is accountable for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, bar, and employee restroom facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Availability to work overnight shifts.
  • Thoroughly cleaning all flooring surfaces in the kitchen, bar, and service areas.
  • Washing and sanitizing all floor mats.
  • Performing nightly cleaning of all kitchen equipment.
  • Ensuring all stainless steel surfaces and sinks are cleaned and polished.
  • Conducting specialized cleaning tasks as required each night.
  • Returning all equipment to its designated location.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of employee restroom facilities.
  • Assisting with recycling efforts in accordance with company policies.
  • Upholding proper sanitation and safety standards for both guests and staff.
  • Completing assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Understanding and adhering to all fire and emergency protocols.
  • Following all company policies and procedures.
  • Exhibiting good personal hygiene practices.
  • Fostering positive relationships with guests and fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

To successfully fulfill this role, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Ability to work in high-temperature and high-moisture environments.
  • Capability to handle sharp objects safely.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the cleaning industry is required.

Compensation: Dependent upon experience.
