Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, addressing concerns and optimizing experiences.
  • Perform patient access registration functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.
  • Collect patient financial responsibilities, including co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay discounts, to reduce AR, Bad Debt, and Collection Costs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve issues and improve patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with UHealth policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in electronic systems, including UChart, Cadence, and Availity.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
