Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Complete Staffing. This role is essential in providing support within a healthcare environment.
Employment Type:
Temporary position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with slight variations possible).
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranging from $18 to $24, depending on experience. Candidates with over three years of relevant experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Room patients efficiently.
2. Measure and record vital signs.
3. Update and maintain patient medical histories.
4. Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients.
5. Provide assistance in various capacities as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a medical environment is required.
2. A diploma in Medical Assisting is necessary.
3. Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Epic, is preferred.
4. Candidates must pass a drug and background screening.
5. Proof of Covid vaccination is required (booster not mandatory).
6. Flu vaccination is also required.
7. Candidates must be prepared to complete National Certification within six months of employment, with costs covered by the company.
8. Participation in a two-day Epic training session is mandatory.
