Land Acquisition Specialist Job Description

Scout Land Group is seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our acquisitions team, you will be responsible for building relationships with landowners, negotiating purchases, and securing properties to expand our acquisitions pipeline.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Landowner Relationships: Build and maintain strong rapport with landowners to establish trust and facilitate successful negotiations.
  • Purchase Negotiations: Negotiate the purchase of land, making compelling offers to secure properties under contract.
  • Objection Handling: Dive deep into the motivations of landowners to sell, overcoming objections with respectful persistence.
  • Lead Management: Consistently follow up with potential sellers to ensure ongoing engagement and grow our acquisitions pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Proven experience in sales, particularly in real estate or land acquisition.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with landowners.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, with the tenacity to push past initial rejections.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up activities.
