Job Title: Residential Construction Land Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Acquisition Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for acquiring undeveloped land or finished lots for development, working closely with property owners, brokers, land developers, city officials, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and secure land acquisition leads, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Conduct thorough title and municipal research, as well as initial cold call inquiries, to identify potential land opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with land developers, brokers, and land owners to secure land acquisitions.
  • Analyze the financial aspects of each development opportunity, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate purchase contracts with sellers, ensuring fair and competitive terms.
  • Communicate regularly with city officials to ensure compliance with regulations and ordinances.
  • Travel overnight as required to secure land acquisitions and meet with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely processing of land acquisitions.
