Position Type: Direct Hire
Salary: Exempt; $75,000-80,000
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Benefits Manager/HR

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration of the Workers' Compensation program, including incident investigations, claims submissions, and financial reserve recommendations.
  • Manage the medical claims process, ensuring effective communication between injured employees, supervisors, insurance carriers, and medical facilities to facilitate timely recoveries.
  • Implement transitional duty assignments when appropriate and maintain thorough documentation throughout the claims process.
  • Coordinate with health clinic and laboratory vendors, including negotiating service rates and ensuring compliance with Chain of Custody protocols.
  • Maintain corporate OSHA logs and ensure compliance across all locations, generating reports for regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Collaborate with safety consultants to uphold compliance standards and address any unresolved issues with management.
  • Develop and deliver training on Workers' Compensation topics to corporate and branch personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to align with company objectives and uphold our core values of Partnership, Performance, Passion, and Initiative.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their capability to fulfill the essential duties. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or four to six years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and HRIS is essential.
