Job Title:

Chargeback Specialist

Job Summary:

LHH is seeking a highly skilled Chargeback Specialist to join our team. As a Chargeback Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving customer disputes, processing chargeback credits, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and reconcile customer disputes, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to research and determine the validity of claims.
  3. Analyze chargebacks for compliance with customer agreements.
  4. Reconcile rebate deductions against related credit memos and report on deduction discrepancies.
  5. Investigate deductions related to prompt pay discounts, sales tracing fees, and administrative fees.
  6. Examine payment deductions related to overages, shortages, and damages.
  7. Take action on unauthorized deductions, including seeking repayment from customers and reclassifying when appropriate.
  8. Manage authorized deductions and clear them in compliance with office policies and procedures.
  9. Work closely with various levels of sales to resolve overdue invoices and deductions.
  10. Collaborate with Cash Applications as needed to ensure payments are appropriately applied.
  11. Prepare and present reports, statistical data, and information related to collection activities to management.
  12. Review customer aging analyses to plan and determine appropriate actions for collecting past-due balances.
Requirements:

5+ years of Chargeback experience

$27-30 per hour, based on experience
