Job Title: Housing Stabilization Specialist

LA Family Housing is seeking a skilled Housing Stabilization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide intensive, home and community-based case management services to individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services, including assessments, goal planning, and linkage to resources
  • Engage with clients to develop rapport and provide support in achieving housing stability
  • Collaborate with local community-based organizations and service providers to coordinate services
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to address issues and barriers
  • Maintain accurate and current client files and data
Requirements:
  • At least one year of work history and relevant transferrable skills
  • Knowledge of issues faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, including health, substance abuse, mental health, and trauma
  • Ability to engage with clients with empathy and a non-judgmental attitude
  • Strong advocacy, conflict resolution, and time management skills
