We are seeking a skilled Control Room Operator to join our team at American SpiralWeld Pipe Company, LLC. As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control production processes in real-time, using SCADA and MES systems.
  • Provide feedback and insights to operations teams to improve process efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement process control plans to optimize production.
  • Analyze data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production planning, project engineering, and plant management to ensure accurate production setup and data sharing.

Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without accommodations.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
  • Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
  • Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to perform basic algebra and geometry calculations.
  • Must be able to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract variables.
  • Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two to three years of relevant work experience in project management and process improvement.
  • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies, tools, and techniques.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
